A positive mindset can be the difference between success and failure; and, during times like these, when the future is uncertain and stress levels are high, a positive mindset is especially important. Begin your day with expressions of gratitude—name three things that you are grateful for. Items on your list could be as simple as being grateful for being awake, your home, coffee, or the sun peeping in through the window.

3 Wins from Yesterday

Next, think of three wins from the day before. It’s okay if you didn’t close a huge deal at work or win the lottery. Think small. Maybe you ate three balanced meals, had time to watch a movie with your kids, or checked everything off your to-do list. Acknowledging your hard work and accomplishments, big or small, is essential for a positive mindset and ongoing success.

3 Things You’ll Achieve Today

And finally, list three things you will achieve today. This short to-do list should be made up of SMART goals so that you set yourself up for success.
